From very early in the book, I was immediately drawn into Cassie‘s life and could feel her trauma coming off the pages. The anxiety, panic and her desire to get back to music while wanting feel safe had me teary eyed.

I swear this year about 80% of the time I have started a series close to the end or right in the middle and this is book 4 in a 5 book series. I love how this book was easily a standalone, but also got me really curious about all the other stories so I want to go back and read them.
