I was all for the cozy and lighthearted feel to this delightful romcom! However, there are also some deeper issues from the character’s pasts and how they were shaped by them in their present. This really brought a greater depth to the story as they began to explore their past issues Learned how to overcome them in order to be happy with who they grew to be.

When I picked this book up, I had no idea it was the second book in a series. I only realized it after I finished, so I can stay with confidence you can easily read this one as a standalone.
