I was all about the whole โrich people behaving badlyโ plot and Aliceโs individual relationships with her siblings. There was such a long history of hurt, resentments, lies, secrets and mistrust, and somehow this all worked to spur a lot of character growth from everyone in the story.
I also loved the infusion of snarky humor to go with all the emotion.
