Texas Book Festival
I lost my virginity!!! Well, my book festival virginity and I was the best time ever!
I cannot even put words what an amazing time I had at Texas Book Fest with over 200 authors in attendance!
It was truly the best getting to chat, laugh with, learn about all the inspiration and writing processes and geek out with some of my favorite authors.
However, the best part was getting to meet up with all my bookish friends! These ladies are just the most beautiful souls.
Friday night I met up with @backporchpages and her sweet husband drove us around Austin so we could explore all the indie bookstores.
Then, it was book fest time, and I had a blast navigating the panels, signing lines and possibly visiting @bookpeople tent more times than anticipated with @therealbookhustler @reading2relax @2reador2write @whimsyreadswithshelby
Later Sunday evening, I was blessed with an invitation from @mommaleighellensbooknook to have dinner with one of my favorite authors this year, Sarah Damoff! Talk about the best way to close out a weekend full of memories!
I have to give the biggest thank you to @therealbookhustler for all her insider knowledge that made navigating this festival for the first time a breeze. Plus this girl knows all the best restaurants in Austin!
