Alex Finlay has a way of weaving together several storylines in a seamless fashion while creating a mystery with mounting tension. Then, throw in the absolute dumpster fire that the characters have turned their lives into and you have one heck of a page turner!

I also really enjoyed how at the end of each chapter was a mini cliffhanger that kept me wanting more.

• Crazy good suspense

• Mystery

• Multi layered storyline

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲?

I found myself engrossed in the fast paced and twisted plot as Finlay wove together the lives of the characters and kept me guessing as to how their fates were possibly all linked together from the past.

𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸?

Overall, this is a tense and propulsive story that will suck you in and then take you on a wild ride with some characters that are absolute dumpster fires. I couldn’t put it down and neither will you!

So glad I got free this with @mamas_top_shelf because we had a lot to discuss when it came to the characters!
