Happy Monday! Daylight savings may have me dragging, but I am kicking off the week with an amazing book. I am such a huge fan of @allisonpataki and her riveting historical fiction books based on unforgettable and real historical figures. Each one is an immersive and sweeping story that will dazzle and transport you to another time in history.

Yesterday I started the audiobook for It Girl, discovered I had binged the first half in no time, and then curled up in bed with a physical copy. Therefore, it is no surprise that I am already predicting five stars for this book! Wanna know why it’s so easy for me to already predict that!?! Because, I’ve wanted to throw my phone and the book against the wall multiple times. That means my heart is so invested in Eve’s story that I feel an emotional connection to it as a whole…especially since her character is based on the life of Evelyn Nesbit‘s. Ugh! My heart and the hangover this book is guaranteed to give me! I’m also wanting to Google several of the men in this book, hoping that karma eventually gets them in the end.
