I loved how every character brought their own flavor to the story, which made it so fun and engaging. The best was how they all became a found family bringing even more heart to the story.

Oh! I can’t forget to mention those darker elements and danger woven throughout the story that keep the tension running high as the past haunts the present.

For those of you wanting to venture into dark romance, but you’re a little nervous, I feel like this is a good gateway book. It’s a “soft” dark but not too dark, so no unhinged spice levels.

And Kade is that MMC that we all dream about. Did he maybe cross a few boundaries…yes…did I cheer him on as he did it…Heck YES!! BUUUUTTTT he did it all to support Amanda and give her confidence so she could see her true worth and strength as he rode his way back into her life.
