Good Spirits

Finally, finally, FINALLY! I freaking FINALLY have a favorite holiday book!!! I am 45 years old and until I read this book, I did not have a favorite holiday book. All the holiday and Christmas books I’ve read up to this point have just been OK and cozy for me…Until Good Spirits. I LOVED LOVED LOVED this story with my every fiber of my being!! I loved it so much that I went and bought the physical copy after listening to the audio.

This whimsical and heart melting story has already gotten tons of hype so I will try to keep this review short.

Karissa Vacker and Will Watt are two narrators I always love and they were an absolute delight to listen to. Vacker’s melodic voice and varied tone capture Harriet’s upbeat and passionate personality; while Watt’s warm Irish lilt creates a poignant presence by conveying Nolan’s conflicted emotions, charisma and child like excitement. You truly feel every moment right along with the characters.

𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸?

Good Spirits is cozy and heartwarming story overflowing with that magical holiday spirit. It’s one of those books that’s going to have you feeling all the emotions…maybe some tears…but you definitely won’t stop smiling! So grab yourself a warm cozy blanket, and a mug of hot And get ready for what is sure to become one of your favorite holiday books too!
