Hi.

Don’t Believe It

Don’t Believe It

Before we get to the review, I have to take this moment to brag…

I did it! I finally solved a true crime mystery! Anytime I pick up a true crime book I don’t even come close to solving the mystery. So, this time I didn’t rush, I paid attention, and diligently looked for the clues. And man did I have to work to solve this one! Now, does this mean I predicted the correct ending for Donlea’s new book coming out next week that I also read? No, no it does not.😂

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆?

This is an excellent story that kept me on my toes, as I tried to solve the murder mysteries. From the beginning, I was suspecting everyone, and Donlea kept introducing new characters and layers to the story as everything evolved and more was revealed. These are the elements I absolutely love in any true crime book!

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸?

Nina Alvamar fully brought this story and all the drama in it to life! I loved how the story was also produced to include various interview segments, sections from the developing TV documentary episodes along with courtroom trial tidbits. It kept the story fresh and interesting.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲?

I always find myself flying through his audiobooks.

𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸?

Yes! This is an excellent mystery that you won’t want to put down. Plus, who doesn’t enjoy a crazy rollercoaster ride of a story with so many twists and turns!?!

Thank you, Kensington Books, for this gifted copy in exchange for my honest review.
