Last weekend, Justin and I were in Target and we came across this diabolically clever book. I was completely drawn to the blurb on the cover, and we both found ourselves quite intrigued by the synopsis. From there, we started reading excerpts from the beginning of the book out loud to each other and laughing at the FMCโs hilarious inner monologue. After this, we knew it was a book that had to be read immediately. Especially since it had us laughing out loud in the aisles of Target without a care!

Remember in Psycho how Norman Bates kills Marion Crane in the shower in that iconic scene? Well, imagine what would happen if it was the present day and Marion turned the tables and kills Norman instead? Thatโs the premise behind this wild and twisted story!
Turns out, this book was exactly what we needed because we binged it in less than 24 hours! MarionโฆLord this is a FMC that makes some seriously questionable decisions, but I found myself just nodding my head, going along with the whole entire train wreck and loving it! Sheโs not the perfect criminal, but that endeared her to me all the more. Plus, poor Marion tries to make the best out of a terrible situation and if she breaks a few laws to do so...Well, it makes for a great story.
Thatโs all you need to know yโall! Go into this book as blind as you can and just enjoy the ride!
